The Board of Directors is vital for the effective governance of the Canadian Karate Association. Comprising essential roles—President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Directors—the Board of Directors ensures leadership and accountability within the organization.
To apply for a position on the Board of Directors all elements below must be provided before the GAM and election.
#1 Candidates must be individual members of the association for a minimum of three (3) years and at least 18 years old.
#2 Should own a Karate club and pay the membership (100$ first year and 50$ every year after)(minimum

#1 Candidates must be individual members of the association for a minimum of three (3) years and at least 18 years old.
#2 Should own a Karate club and pay the membership (100$ first year and 50$ every year after)(minimum of 3 years) if nobody is accepting or voted then the executive can nominate a good standing member for the position, then a vote takes place on nomination and if accepted the person will be on the executive.
#3 Must have registered all the black belt (100$ for life) and kyu belt (xx $ per year) of their club for a minimum of 3 years.
#4 Wear the CKA Crest
#5 Attend all CKA Clinic and Grading
#6 Complete a full resume (full identification, level, all diploma, identification of a club, name of all Black Belt and level, accomplishment, etc.)
